doctors

not sure if everyone sees my updates across twitter and facebook and all, so i figured the blog is the best place to put it all.

monday i saw the doctor for the baby. he says i am not anemic and i don't have any diseases. then he gooped me up and we listened for the baby on the doppler. his (fairly sure this is going to be a boy!) heart was beating at 150 beats per minute. it was fun to hear. still doesn't seem 'real', but i'm sure that'll come. probably about 3 hours into labor.

another appointment for that in may, i think. another 4 weeks.

then on tuesday i saw the arm doctor. he says my mobility is coming along nicely for not seeing a therapist. he had me squeeze his fingers with both hands, and said i've probably only lost about 10% of my strength in my left arm. i am seeing this doctor again in june and that should be my last check up.

i am feeling better the last week, able to eat a little more easily and only sort of queasy. i'm still very tired, but i can get away without napping for hours every day.

i feel really fat but i lost 3 pounds between my first and second visits. i need to do better on drinking water. i get so tired of water, water, water. i like milk. at least there's that for bones.

Not fat. Just pregnant. They are two very different things & the baby needs you to gain weight so it can be healthy. You only need about 150 extra calories a day - just make them count! Miss and love!

I love it when you get to the end and you see the doctor more often. I think some girls get sick of it, but I liked it.

Water...do some fruit water it's really good!
