a few things -
jace got to see santa for his first christmas! he went with cousin sadie. santa was asking sadie what she wanted for christmas, and we decided if jace could talk, he'd probably be saying "a bottle!"
waiting in line
jeff and i celebrated our fifth anniversary this week since we'll be traveling to seattle on the actual day. great auntie barb and family were willing to babysit for us! it was hard to leave jace behind but i still had a good time anyway. last year we went to an open house at the inn and got an expensive room for relatively cheap so that made it even better.
it was super fun having the big projection screen at the back of the truck, where the bed was. we relaxed and played some games and ate way too much sugary junk. i hear jace was a good little boy for the family, so it was a success overall. it's been an interesting fifth year for us, and i'm sure an even better sixth one is on the way.
and finally, a little gift we picked up for jace with some christmas monies from the grandparents d:
this bouncy seat makes the same kind of motion that i use with my leg to soothe him sometimes, so it's nice to have. plus it'll be easier to do dishes and cook if he's got somewhere i can set him down. he's really loving to stand up and kick, so i think a jumperoo/exersaucer combo is up next!

I always thought that room looked fun.
I loved the bouncy with my kids. Welly slept in his for the first few weeks of his life. And I went through a lot of batteries.
